Nissan employee injured at Smyrna plant - WKRN, Nashville News, Nashville Weather and Sports

A Nissan employee was injured late Saturday afternoon at the plant located in Smyrna.

The employee, who works for the Enprotech Tech Company, broke his leg around 5 p.m. while working on a heavy piece of equipment.

The man, whose identity was not immediately released, was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville with non-life threatening injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
