100s Continue; 90s By Mid Week With Sctd T'Showers

Posted:

After setting a new all time record high for Nashville of 109° yesterday (the old record 107°, 1952), we are forecasting 106° for today which will tie the daily record.

We are forecasting another daily record on Sunday of 105° with the record 101° set in 1954.

This week temperatures will finally begin to back off to upper 90s Monday and Tuesday and mid 90s from the 4th of July through Saturday.

We also should see a return of scattered pop up type t'showers starting Tuesday.  However, this will not be widespread rain.
