Extreme weather on this day: We set an ALL-TIME RECORD HIGH in Nashville at 109 degrees. Crossville was at an all-time record at 102. And it doesn't back of for some time!
Tonight will be clear with lows in the mid 70s by daybreak.
Saturday will likely tie the old record high for the date at 106 with an abundance of sunshine and a light southwest breeze.
Sunday is another record setter at 103.
This has been an extremely dry air mass which has allowed these extreme highs but comfortable nights. We will begin to feel the humidity go up by the end of the weekend and next week. We need that moisture to hope for anything resembling a rain chance. We'll find out how likely that is on News 2 at 10.
