Man arrested after 80-pound marijuana bust at West Knox home - WKRN, Nashville News, Nashville Weather and Sports

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A man was arrested Wednesday night when officers said they found 80 pounds of marijuana during a search of his home.

Knox County sheriff's officers and the Smoky Mountain Fugitive Task Force searched the home of Javier Marguez Cruz, 24, at 10018 Bob Gray Road, Lot 33. 

The officers found 6.8 ounces of cocaine, 80 pounds of marijuana and drug paraphernalia that included digital scales, baggies and plastic wrapping, according to the sheriff's office.

Cruz is charged with manufacture, delivery, sale or possession of cocaine and manufacture, delivery, sale or possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance.

He's being held in the Knox County Detention Facility on a $50,000 bond.
