CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

A Clarksville hotel worker was arrested this week for using an Illinois woman's credit card number to rack up more than $4,100 in fraudulent charges.

The woman stayed at the Super 8 Motel on Holiday Drive on the night of November 18, 2011 and paid for the room with a credit card.

Police said Belinda Blake, a Super 8 employee, copied the woman's card number and then made 42 transactions totaling $4,159.99 between February 1 and February 17 of this year.

All of the transactions, except one, were to Facebook.com for online gaming such as Cityville and Farmville.

The other transaction was for the purchase of computer security software.

During an interview earlier this month, Blake admitted to using the woman's card information in addition to several other people's credit card numbers.

Blake, 52, was charged with illegal possession of a credit card and booked into the Montgomery County jail.

The investigation is ongoing.
