Music City Center more than three fourths complete

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
The much anticipated Music City Center is more than three fourths complete.
"We are almost complete with the exterior of the building," explained project manager Larry Atema.
The new convention center will technically only be eight floors, but the unique design will make the center 15 stories high. It will feature a ballroom and 60 meeting rooms of varying sizes.
The building is also on track to be LEED certified partly because of the 175,000 square foot green roof that is designed to mimic the rolling hills of Tennessee.
The new 16 acre, $585 million convention center is scheduled to open in April 2013.
