NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
The Salvation Army is hosting a bottled water drive on Friday to help Nashville residents beat the heat.
Donations can be made at the following locations:
- The Salvation Army's Center of Hope located at 631 Dickerson Pike from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- The Salvation Army's Madison Community Center located at 425 Neely's Bend Road from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- A Salvation Army truck at Kroger located at 2020 Mallory Lane from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
All donated water will benefit the Salvation Army's Hydration Station which helps provide relief to the homeless, among others.
Currently the non-profit organization has a water supply to last for about a week.
