NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Police expect a motorcyclist to make a full recovery after being struck by a car early Thursday morning.
Shortly after 12 a.m. Midnight, police said the man was riding on West Trinity Lane near Interstate 65 with a group of motorcyclists when a car clipped him from behind.
Emergency crews took the rider to a nearby hospital where he was treated for serious injuries.
The driver was suspected of distracted driving and was tested for DUI.
The driver told police he did not see the motorcycle.
No charges were immediately filed.
