Police search for Lawrenceburg man wanted on child rape charges

LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. -

The Lawrenceburg Police Department is actively searching for a 25-year-old man wanted on child rape charges.

Authorities said Gerald Robinson was indicted on three counts of rape of a child and six counts of statutory rape.

Police said the charges stem from incidents involving two victims.

Robinson is described as a black male and is six feet, one inch tall and weighs around 225 pounds.

Anyone with information on Robinson's whereabouts is urged to contact police at 931-762-2276.
