Grand Ole Opry adding shows in July, August

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Grand Ole Opry has added four weeks of Wednesday night shows in Nashville July 18 through August 8.

The new shows will join the Opry's Tuesday, Friday and Saturday performances.

Rascal Flatts was announced Tuesday as one of the performers set for July 25.

The live country music show has been presented regularly since 1925 and is known as "the mother church of country music."
