MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -
A Murfreesboro woman was charged after she called 911 to report that a male neighbor is in love with her husband.
According to police, Rose Brashers called 911 twice Saturday evening and officers responded to her home at the Royal Inn both times.
As the officer left the second time, police said Brashers called 911 again to say someone in her apartment was being rude.
The officer went back into the woman's apartment and arrested her.
Police said Brashers, 46, escaped from her handcuffs in the patrol car and then passively resisted when the officer tried to put them back on.
Police charged Brashers with unlawful use of 911.
She is scheduled to appear in a Rutherford County courtroom on August 15.
The investigation is ongoing.
