DOVER, Tenn. -
Three people were critically injured in a head-on collision Sunday afternoon in Stewart County.
The accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on State Route 120 at Brandon Dodd Road in Dover.
Police told Nashville's News 2 a Chevy Silverado swerved to avoid colliding with a Jeep that was making a left turn into a parking lot.
The driver of the Jeep also swerved and the two vehicles collided head-on.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol said neither driver was wearing a seatbelt.
The two drivers and a passenger in the Jeep were taken by helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
