Fire damages Hermitage duplex

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

The American Red Cross has been called to assist two families following a fire early Saturday morning at a duplex in Hermitage.

Firefighters could see smoke coming from the building on Monaco Drive at Sweden Drive when they arrived on the scene around 1:30 a.m.

Two adults and five kids escaped the duplex without injury.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
