Flames engulf Bethpage home, 1 injured

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

One person was transported to the hospital Friday morning following a house fire in Sumner County.

Firefighters responded to the home located at 467 Mutton Hollow Road off U.S. Highway 431 in Bethpage around 11:25 a.m.

The home was fully engulfed when crews arrived on the scene about 15 miles northeast of Gallatin.

One person suffered smoke inhalation and was transported to the hospital.

Additional information was not released.
