Rebar evacuated after small electrical fire

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A Midtown bar was evacuated late Thursday night after an electrical fire just outside the building.

Authorities said an electrical box sparked in the back exterior of Rebar in the 1900 block of Division Street off of 21st Avenue South, causing the minor fire just after 11:30 p.m.

Customers and employees were evacuated while crews investigated the fire, which was out shortly after it started.

No injuries were reported.

No further details were immediately released.

The investigation is ongoing.
