COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -

A young Oklahoma City Thunder fan is gaining national attention after his mother posted a video online of his emotional reaction following the team's loss in Game 3 of the NBA finals earlier this week.

In the video, six-year-old Christian Finney is visibly upset when the Miami Heat defeated the Thunder by only a few points.

"I hate Miami. It's not fair!" a tearful Christian says during the four-and-a-half minute video.

Christian's mother originally posted the video so out of town family members could see his reaction.

Christian's grandfather, Gary Montgomery, told Nashville's News 2 he's surprised by the widespread attention the video has received.

"There [are] people that have their own opinions of the video, but it was done for all the right reasons," Montgomery told Nashville's News 2 from the family's home in Cookeville, about 80 miles east of Nashville.

When asked what he wanted to see during Thursday night's game, Christian cried, "Thunder winning! They need to win. [They need] to shut down Lebron James and win!"

Christian also predicted the Thunder would beat the Heat 106 to 104.

When his grandson's 15 minutes of fame subsides, Montgomery said the video will become a part of family lore.

"It's certainly something that will be talked about long into the future and something we hope he will enjoy," he added.

Shortly after the Miami Heat's decisive victory over the Thunder in Game 6 Thursday night, Christian's mother told Nashville's News 2 her son is ready for football season.

"Lots of tears from him, but he will be better in the morning," she said.

Since the video was posted online it has been viewed more than 300,000 times on YouTube.
