NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A Hermitage home was substantially damaged on Thursday afternoon after a motorist crashed through the home.
The incident occurred at a home in the 100 block of Briar Oaks Court.
Authorities said the woman, who is believed to be in her 40s, swerved off the road for an unknown reason before crashing through the home knocking out a wall, water heater and ripping out both the gas and electric lines.
No one was injured in the incident.
Witnesses on the scene said the driver of the vehicle, whose identity was not immediately released, was transported to an area hospital.
