NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Four homes are uninhabitable following a fire Wednesday evening at a condominium complex in southeastern Davidson County.

The blaze broke out just before 6 p.m. in the 8500 block of Calistoga Way in the Villas at Concord Place off Nolensville Pike in Antioch.

Nashville Fire Department District Chief Ricky Taylor said it appears someone was grilling on a back deck when a propane tank ignited.

The fire quickly spread to four units.

All occupants escaped and no one was injured.

The flames were so hot siding on adjacent units that weren't otherwise damaged was melted.

Due to the intense heat and hot temperatures, paramedics watched firefighters closely for heat exhaustion.

The official cause of the fire is under investigation.
