NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Metro police said a gunman stole more than just cash from a victim early Wednesday morning in west Nashville.
The incident happened around 1 a.m. near the Daily's gas station located on Charlotte Pike across the street from Cabot Drive.
The victim told police he and a friend were walking in the area when the suspect approached and hit him in the head with a semi-automatic pistol.
The suspect then demanded he take off his pants before fleeing with the pants in hand.
The victim told police his wallet, which contained around $600 in cash, was in one of the pants pockets.
The victim was not seriously injured.
The suspect is described as a black male, about five feet, eight inches tall.
He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black jeans.
