NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Retaliation appears to be the motive for Sunday's shooting of a 19-year-old outside the funeral for another teen.

Orlando Martin, Jr. was standing across the street from the Watson Grove Baptist Church on Horton Avenue when a car pulled up and someone inside opened fire, hitting Martin in the neck.

Martin's brother William is one of two men accused of killing the 17-year-old being laid to rest, Antwand Covington.

Covington was killed as he was getting out of a car to attend a sweet 16 birthday party on June 9.

William Martin and Stephen King were arrested for the murder last week.

The service for Covington had just ended Sunday evening when Orlando Martin stepped outside and four other men, also at the service, drove by in a beige or gold-colored car and opened fire.

Orlando Martin survived the shooting and is expected to recover.

Anyone with information about the occupants of the car is urged to call Metro police or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
