Metro police detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting a 20-year-old Nashville man.
Marcio Murphy's body was discovered Monday afternoon inside a burglarized apartment located at 860 Murfreesboro Pike by the resident, 32-year-old Lee Carr, who had been away from his apartment since Friday.
According to police, the investigation strongly suggests that Murphy and others had entered the apartment in the Altamont Pointe complex prior to the shooting.
Anyone who has knowledge of Murphy's whereabouts before his death or information regarding the murder is urged to contact Metro police or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
