Robertson County highway closed after truck overturns

SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. -

U.S. Highway 431 is closed in Robertson County after a tractor trailer truck overturned Monday morning.

The crash was reported around 10 a.m. near Betts Road and Mt. Zion Road, south of Springfield and about 1.5 miles north of the Davidson County line.

Northbound and southbound traffic is affected with roadway closed.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol estimates it will be 5 p.m. before the scene is cleared and the highway is reopened.

The semi-truck was the only vehicle involved.  No one was injured.

There was a slight diesel leak from the truck that has been contained.
