SPRING HILL, Tenn. -
Tobacco products may soon be banned from public parks in Spring Hill if a proposal passes during a final reading Monday night.
The proposed ordinance would mike it a minor offense to use tobacco at any city park.
Alderman Keith Hudson proposed the idea earlier this year.
The new code would come with a fine of $138 if violated.
Bark Park, Evans Park and Harvey Park are all included in the proposal.
The board recently voted 5-4 in favor of the code change.
