Body found on train tracks, Investigation continues

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police are continuing to investigate after a body was found on train tracks in Nashville Sunday morning.

The deceased victim, who was identified as 42-year-old Dean Jennings, was discovered just before 10 a.m. at the downtown railroad overpass on Charlotte Avenue and 11th Avenue North.

Authorities said it is unclear how the victim died; however, it does not appear to be foul play.

No additional information was released.
