COLUMBIA, Tenn. -

A man with a history of flashing his private parts in Maury County is behind bars after he recently exposed himself to a woman in a Columbia neighborhood.

Thomas Alexander of Summertown was taken into custody after investigators found him partially naked Tuesday in the 1000 block of School Street.

According to resident Amy Davis, Alexander parked behind her home and knocked on her door around 2 p.m.

"He was completely naked. He had a pair of girl's panties on that came to his thighs.  He didn't act like he was all there. It was like he was on something," Davis told Nashville's News 2.

Davis said the 66-year-old man approached her for sex and drugs.

"He asked me if I wanted to get high with him. He had a crack pipe in his hand and he asked me if I wanted to go to the hotel room for $1,000 with him," she said.

Davis, who does not know Alexander, shut the door and called police, however he did not leave.

Neighbors told Nashville's News 2 Alexander then walked around Davis' backyard until officers arrived to arrest him.

Police told Davis she was Alexander's fourth victim Tuesday.

Earlier in the day he exposed himself in a park and tried to approach a young girl in another location.

Alexander faces drug and indecent exposure charges.

He has prior convictions for simple drug possession and faces at least two other indecent exposure charges in Maury County.
