Traffic diverted around multiple vehicle wreck along I-40W

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A multiple vehicle wreck along interstate 40 near Fesslers Lane in south Nashville Wednesday morning had westbound and eastbound lanes blocked for almost an hour.

The wreck occurred at mile marker 212 in the westbound lanes around 6:30 a.m.

Traffic was backed about for about 45 minutes and the lanes have since reopened.
