Man accused of sexually abusing Amish teens to appear in court

Jimmy McAllister, 80, is charged with sexually abusing Amish teenagers in Giles County over the last seven years.

PULASKI, Tenn. -

The man accused of sexually abusing two Amish teens is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.

A grand jury will hear the case against 80-year-old Maurice "Jimmy" McAllister.

The Giles County man is said to have abused at least two Amish teenagers over a period of several years.

McAllister was taken into custody last month and is charged with aggravated rape, sexual battery and burglary.

Authorities previously said they believed there could be additional victims.
