Sheriff's employee resigns following multiple DUI arrests

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A Davidson County Sheriff's employee has resigned from his position following multiple DUI arrests.

Chief Kevin Cox was most recently arrested for driving under the influence last Monday in Murfreesboro.

He resigned from his position the same day of his arrest.

Cox served as a director of operations at one of the Davidson County jails.
