Suspect arrested for murder of Kentucky woman

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. -

Kentucky police arrested a suspect for the alleged murder of a 22-year-old woman from Allen County, Kentucky.

According to police, the body of Chelsey Mahaney was found Monday night lying on the floor of a home in Scottsville just west of Barren River Lake Park around 6 p.m.

Following an investigation, police arrested 34-year-old Charles Copass of Scottsville in relation to the murder.

Further details were not immediately released. The investigation is ongoing.
