Robber hides gun in hospital gown, steals 100 Xanax pills - WKRN, Nashville News, Nashville Weather and Sports

A man entered a Walgreen's on Highway 70 South Friday and robbed the pharmacy of more than 100 Xanax pills.

The robber came into the store in the 7600 block around 9:30 p.m. carrying a hospital gown wadded up in his hands.

As he approached the pharmacy counter, the suspect showed a clerk the handle of a gun before handing over a note saying that he wanted Xanax.

The suspect threatened to shoot the clerk if he did not receive the pills.
