Small aircraft crash-lands near Nashville's Percy Priest Lake

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Just before 9 a.m. Saturday, the pilot of a small aircraft was walking on the ground after crash-landing near Percy Priest Lake.

The aircraft, an ultralight plane, may have struck tree limbs before coming to rest in the 1700 block of Bakers Grove Road, said Metro police.

There were no reports of fire in the heavily-wooded residential area.

The aircraft was not leaking fuel and the cause of the crash landing was still under investigation.
