Multi-vehicle crash on I-440 slows morning commute - WKRN, Nashville News, Nashville Weather and Sports

A multi-vehicle crash had the eastbound lanes of Interstate 440 at Interstate 65 blocked Thursday morning.

The wreck was reported around 8:20 a.m. at mile marker 4 near the on-ramp from I-440 East to I-65.

Eastbound traffic was affected with the roadway partially blocked. Several vehicles were involved.

One lane was reopened about 30 minutes later.  The scene was cleared and interstate reopened by about 9:40 a.m.
