FRANKLIN, Tenn. -
A new Apple store is coming to Williamson County.
The company recently announced plans to add a store at the Cool Springs Galleria.
It will be just the third Apple store in the state but the second in Middle Tennessee. The other is located at the Mall at Green Hills.
Exactly when the store will open isn't clear.
According to building permits, the store will be just over 8,200 square feet.
Apple is spending a reported $1.5 million to renovate the space in the mall.
The Mac Authority store previously located in the Cool Springs Galleria has moved out.
Nashville-based Mac Authority specializes in Apple products and is an authorized seller.
The company says there are no plans to close its other two Nashville area locations.
