BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -

The home of former Tennessee Titans running back Eddie George will be up for auction later this month.

According to a report in The Tennessean, the auction will take place June 7 on the steps of the Williamson County Courthouse following a default on the mortgage.

The property is an 8,550-square-foot home in the gated Brentwood community of Hampton Reserve, just off Concord Road near Edmondson Pike.

The home was on the market a few months ago for $1.1 million.

The house features an open floor plan with cathedral ceilings, four bathrooms, three half-baths and five bedrooms, the paper reported.

There is also an elevator that runs from the basement to the attic, a workout room, a swimming pool and a hot tub.
