INDIAN MOUND, Tenn. -
A storm damaged several buildings at Wallace Building Supply in Indian Mound early Tuesday morning.
The storm hit just after 7 a.m.
One of the owners of the family business, Randy Wallace, told Nashville's News 2 the sky got dark and rain and what appeared to be "swirling" winds quickly swept in from east to west.
Wallace said at least three structures were damaged including a 4,000 square foot warehouse which had its roof torn off.
Half of the roof ended up on fence and the other half in a nearby fishing pond.
Meteorologists do not believe the damage was caused by tornado activity but straight line winds in excess of 60 miles-per-hour.
About 30 workers were in the warehouse at the time of the storm. No one was injured, Wallace said.
Randy Wallace's brother Ronnie said the buildings were insured.
The brothers hope to begin rebuilding and repairing the structures within a week or two.
Indian Mound is located in Stewart County, midway between Clarksville and Dover.
