
One person was sent to the hospital following a two-vehicle collision involving an ambulance Sunday in Sumner County.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to the wreck around 2:45 p.m. at Highway 31E and Rock Bridge Road in Castalian Springs.
According to authorities, the ambulance was not running emergency traffic lights when it collided with a pickup truck.
The driver of the truck was flown via Lifeflight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center to be treated for injuries.
