JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (AP) - A Johnson City youth boxing program coach has been charged with selling cocaine and ecstasy while at work.

The Johnson City Press reported the indictment of 35-year-old Brad Austin. He was taken into custody on Wednesday.

First Judicial District Drug Task Force director Mike Adams said an undercover agent bought drugs from Austin during times the Johnson City Athletic Club was open.

He said the buys took place in a parking lot of the gym and police have no indication that drugs were sold to juveniles.

The charges are more serious because the drugs were sold within 1,000 feet of the Science Hill Alternative Center.

The newspaper reported Austin made it to the finals of the 1996 Olympic trials.
