NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued an Amber Alert for three girls reported missing from west Tennessee last month.

Adrienne, Alexandria and Kyliyah Bain were last seen at their home in Hardeman County on April 27.

The children were kidnapped and may be with their mother, JoAnn Bain and Adam Mayes.

They may now be in extreme danger, according to the TBI.

On their Web site, the TBI said Mayes has altered his appearance by cutting his hair and may have also cut or dyed the children's hair.

Investigators believe Mayes is armed.

He was last seen Tuesday in Guntown, Mississippi.

The group may be en route to Arizona or Mississippi.

Anyone with information is urged to call the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
