NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
The Nashville Predators have suspended forwards Alexander Radulov and Andrei Kostitsyn for Game 3 of the playoff series against the Coyotes.
The team announced Tuesday morning that neither player will be in the lineup Wednesday because of unspecified violations of team rules.
"The Nashville Predators have a few simple rules centered around doing the right things," Predators' General Manager David Poile said in a team statement posted on NHL.com. "We have always operated with a team-first mentality and philosophy. Violating team rules is not fair to our team and their teammates."
The Predators are down two games in the series with Phoenix.
Game 3 is Wednesday night at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
