NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A few of the Tennessee Titans traded their helmets for rackets Saturday during the 39th annual Music City Tennis Invitational, a charity tournament benefiting the child development center at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital.

Leroy Harris, Ken Amato, Colin McCarthy, Jake Locker and Marc Mariani were among the 156 players in the tournament.

"The players will pay an entry fee and then we'll play round robin style," Tournament Director Bill Riddle explained.  "Everybody plays everybody. It's competitive but there's a lot of fun to it."

During the past 39 years, the tournament has raised about $1.5 million for the development center.

"It's a great organization," said Locker.  "They do so many good things for kids in so many different ways."

Last year's tournament raised $73,000 and organizers hoped to top that figure this year.
