Chuy's restaurant opened its doors Tuesday at the revitalized Opry Mills Mall.
The restaurant is one of the first new tenants to open at the shopping complex after it was severely damaged in the historic flood of May 2010.
The Opry Mills location is the Austin-based eatery's fourth restaurant to open in Middle Tennessee in recent months.
"Opry Mills Mall is the ideal spot for our first tourist location," General Manager Brad Smith said. "Chuy's brings a unique dining experience that this area has not had before, so we're confident our authentic recipes, fresh flavors and funky atmosphere will be well received here."
The restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Opry Mills Mall officially reopens to the public with a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday.
A free outdoor concert in celebration of the mall's reopening will feature country star Josh Turner and take place Saturday, May 5, just days after the two-year anniversary of the flood.
