Nashville Zoo prepares to open dinosaur exhibit

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

The Nashville Zoo is preparing to open a unique exhibit that features more than a dozen  dinosaurs.

Dinotrek will officially open on March 16 and will continue through July 31.

The exhibit features 16 prehistoric beasts including Tyrannosaurus Rex and Brachiosaurus, among others.

Admission to Dinotrek is $3 for zoo members and $4 for non-members. Tickets can be purchased at the zoo's front gate or at the entrance of the exhibit.

The zoo is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. October 14 through March 14 and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 15 through October 13.

Admission to the Nashville Zoo is $15 for adults, $13 for senior citizens and $10 for children ages two to 12.

Children under the age of two are admitted for free.
