An Amber Alert for two young girls who were reported missing in Van Buren County Wednesday morning has been canceled.

Authorities said the children were found safely in Maryland.

The Amber Alert was issued at 3:48 a.m. for three-year-old Summer Knasel and four-year-old Lovell Knasel after they were abducted by their non custodial parents in Spencer.

According to officials, the two girls were taken out of Jeremy Knasel's and Ashley Norberg's custody on February 17 after the two were discovered manufacturing meth amphetamine in the house with the children present.

Knasel, 34, has a history with law enforcement and is known to act irrationally.

No additional information was released.
