Jerry Dixon, 66
GALLATIN, Tenn. -
One person was stabbed and another was injured after a fight broke out inside a Gallatin restaurant on Tuesday night.
The incident occurred at the Longhorn Steakhouse located in the 1000 block of Nashville Pike around 8 p.m.
According to police Jerry Dixon, 66, slashed Ricky Troutt in the neck, cheek and arm following a disagreement in the bar area of the restaurant.
Trout was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he underwent surgery for life threatening injuries. He was last listed in stable condition.
Dixon was transported to Sumner Regional Medical Center
Authorities said the two men are former business partners whose business relationship dissolved several years ago resulting in a court ordered settlement.
Dixon is charged with attempted second degree murder.
