NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A man accused of terrorizing a senior citizen, wanted by both Metro and Wilson County lawmen, is behind bars Tuesday morning.

According to Metro detectives, U.S. marshals picked up Tommy Stanley Friday and brought him back to Nashville over the weekend.

Investigators say Stanley was found in Louisville.  He is scheduled to be in court Wednesday morning.

Nashville's News 2 Investigates profiled Stanley last month.

At the time, authorities said he often posed as a home improvement contractor and in at least one instance, pushed his way into an elderly woman's home, brandished a gun and forced the woman to write him a check.

"I guess a hoodlum. That is all I think to call him, a mere hoodlum," victim Faye Woodroof, 73, told Nashville's News 2.

She continued, "I went to get my mail, [he] walked up to the door with me and [came] on in.  He had a rope and he just flipped it around my neck and [sat] me down in the chair and he had a gun."

"He said, 'Do you have narcotics, I said, 'No.' He said, 'How about cash and credit cards?'  I said, 'Very little cash and no credit cards.'  He found my checkbook and said, 'I guess you will be writing me a check won't 'ya?'"

In Wilson County, Stanley is wanted for coercing a senior citizen to write checks totaling $6,200 for work he promised but never completed.

Stanley faces several charges of kidnapping, robbery and theft.
