CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -
Middle Tennessee made its "Bachelor" debut Monday when Clarksville native Kacie Boguskie brought Bachelor Ben home to her family.
Watching ABC's "The Bachelor" has become a weekly tradition for some girls in Clarksville.
It was especially exciting for Jordan Sherley to see her former babysitter and hometown girl Kacie B. in the final four, hoping to win Bachelor Ben Flajnik's heart.
Sherley stated, "She was always really sweet, we always went over to her house and we used to play with her bunny."
On Monday's episode, Flajnik traveled to the remaining contestants hometowns to meet their families.
For some, it was exciting just to see their city in the national spotlight.
With the help of a marching band, Kacie B. showed off her baton twirling skills at Boguskie football stadium at Stratford High School, named in honor of Kacie's grandfather, a minor league baseball player in Nashville.
Kacie B. introduced Flajnik to her parents, Martha and Denny Boguskie, and her sister Allison. In the end, the meeting didn't go quite as planned.
When Kacie B. brought up the discussion of marriage with her father, he replied, "If he wants to ask me if he can marry you I would probably say at this point, 'No.'"
At the end of the episode, Flajnik sent Kacie B. home.
The Bachelor airs Monday nights at 7 p.m.
