NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A teenage girl was struck in the leg in a drive-by shooting in west Nashville early Monday morning.
Metro police said the 19-year-old victim was inside a residence on the corner of Illinois and 45th avenues when several bullets struck the home just before 2 a.m.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police were searching for a dark-colored vehicle, possibly a Honda Civic, thought to have been involved in the shooting.
No other information regarding a suspect was released.
The investigation is ongoing.
