Family survives slamming into rock wall

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A family escaped serious injuries Sunday morning after their car slammed into a rock wall off Interstate 24 southeast of downtown.

Witnesses told Nashville's News 2 the car hydroplaned before striking the wall just after 8 a.m.

The wreck occurred near the Harding Place exit.

The identity of the family was not released by police.
