A popular local radio personality has passed away.
Curtis "Scooby" Senior was part of the Dolewite & Scooby show on 101.1 The Beat.
In a statement, the radio said, "110.1 The Beat is deeply saddened by the recent loss of one of our family members -- Curtis "Scooby" Senior, one half of the Dolewite & Scooby show. Scooby was a integral part of The Beat family from the time the station signed on in Nashville in 2001. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this most difficult time. We ask that you keep his family, and The Beat family, in your prayers. We will miss him and he will forever be in our hearts and minds."
101.1 The Beat held a candle light vigil at 10:11 p.m. Saturday night at 55 Music Square West in his memory.

Senior was 33 years old. He reportedly died of a heart attack.
