Brentwood police have made an arrest in a shooting last May at the Extended Stay America on Church Street.
Herbert Young was arrested this week and charged with attempted criminal homicide for allegedly shooting Justine Compton through the window of her hotel room.
Compton was hit in the chest but has since made a full recovery.
Police said Compton, of Arizona, was working as a prostitute at the time.
Young, 29, is being held in the Williamson County jail on a $50,000 bond.
